Located on the waterfront in the port of Beaulieu-sur-Mer, L’Appartement du Coin is a newly-renovated 2-bedroom apartment in a traditional building, dating from 1908. While the building retains its period charm, the apartment has been updated to include all the latest amenities that you might need for a perfect luxury vacation on the French Riviera.
The highlight of the apartment is surely the spectacular view over the water and across to the mountain behind. Sit on the balcony with a glass of rosé and watch the comings and goings of the bustling port and working marina, where the little jetty directly in front is used to drop off the passengers from the superyachts moored in the bay.
The apartment is just a short stroll along the quay from the Petite Afrique beach, with its restaurants and famous microclimate. In the opposite direction, the port of Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat is only a 30 minute walk away along the spectacular coastal path which passes in front of some of the most glamorous villas on the Côte D’Azur.

The
two bedrooms, each with the view over the water and one with a balcony,
are generously appointed with queen size beds, hotel-quality
mattresses, plush pillows and crisp, high thread-count cotton bedding.
The en-suite bathroom and second shower-room are meticulously designed
and well-equipped with soaps, shampoos, shower gels and soaps from L'Occitane and La Compagnie
de Provence.
The
kitchen is fully-equipped with high-quality cookware and utensils –
everything you might need to prepare meals with the amazing produce that
you can source from the daily farmer's market in the main square of Beaulieu.
The living room is furnished with a comfortable sofa and armchairs as well as a 55" Sony OLED TV (with streaming apps that can be used with your own accounts) and a bluetooth soundbar. The superfast wifi allows all guests to use data services simultaneously across multiple devices.
The apartment is fully air-conditioned with both cold and hot air options and electric radiators for the short winter period.

Beaulieu-sur-Mer is the ideal base for discovering the French Riviera, set mid-way between Nice and Monaco at the base of the peninsula of Cap Ferrat. Originally a small fishing village, Beaulieu became the destination of choice on the Côte d'Azur for European heads of state and wealthy elites the at the end of the 19th century and, at its height, had no less than 82 hotels. The legacy of this glitzy heyday is visible in the form of a large number of beautiful – and well-preserved – buildings from that era. La Réserve de Beaulieu (150m from the apartment), one of the finest hotels on the French Mediterranean coast, played host to much of Hollywood royalty throughout the latter part of the 20th century with David Niven, Charlie Chaplin and Gregory Peck all owning homes nearby.
Nowadays, Beaulieu is a bustling, authentic French village, mercifully free of the tourist traps that populate much of the Riviera. This is somewhere you can enjoy a slower pace of life than nearby Nice or Monaco, whilst enjoying the very best that the region has to offer. With two beautiful beaches, glorious coastal walks, the architectural delights of the Villa Kérylos and Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild all within a few minutes' stroll from the apartment, you won't be short of things to do or see. And there are restaurants (from Michelin-starred to local bistros and great beach restaurants), bars and patisseries aplenty as well as chic boutiques, a daily market in Place du Général de Gaulle and artisanal suppliers to investigate.

The apartment is well-served by public transport with the railway station only a 7 minute walk away and there are bus stops nearby with frequent services towards both Nice and Monaco. If you are bringing a car, there is plentiful on-street parking available in the port and in the surrounding streets as well as the municipal car park at the rear of the building.
